ROSSETI's General Director Oleg Budargin has been re-elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Federal Grid Company of the Unified Energy System. This decision was made by a meeting in absentia on July 23, 2014.

ROSSETI, the Central Interregional Distribution Grid Company (part of the ROSSETI Group) and the Yaroslavl Oblast authorities have signed an agreement to provide economic stimulus for energy saving measures and to improve energy efficiency during power transmission. The document was signed by the region's head Sergei Yastrebov and the Director of the Central Interregional Distribution Grid Company branch Konstantin Kotikov in the presence of ROSSETI's First Deputy General Director for Technical Policy Roman Berdnikov.

The CEO of JSC Russian Grids Oleg Budargin as part of a staff meeting of technical managers of the company’s subsidiaries met the chief engineers of the subsidiaries and associates of the company in St. Petersburg.

During the first half of 2014 JSC Russian Grids group companies received 230,000 consumer requests for technological connection to electric power supply network totalling 17GW in capacity. 176,000 contracts were signed with a total capacity of more than 6GW.

A production meeting of the chief engineers of JSC Russian Grids subsidiaries under the chairmanship of First Deputy CEO on Technical Policy of JSC Russian Grids Roman Berdnikov. began in St. Petersburg on July 16th, 2014. The purpose of the meeting was to find out if the power supply network is well-prepared for operating during the 2014-2015 autumn-winter seasons.

Deputy CEO of JSC Russian Grids Svetlana Zholnerchik participated in the working trip of the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets to Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk and Vladivostok in the course of which she discussed with the leadership of the universities cooperation prospects in the field of training, retraining and further training of skilled specialists for the power supply company.

Senior executives of JSC Russian Grids and Kaluga Oblast as part of the working group meeting on Energy Development in the region under the chairmanship of Governor Anatoly Artamonov have discussed modernizing the power grid network and connecting new consumers to it.

As part of a working trip to Pyatigorsk the CEO of Russian Grids JSC Oleg Budargin held a meeting with the leaders of the production, investment and financial and economic blocs of the JSC IDGC Northern Caucasus during which the results of the activities of the Russian Grids JSC subsidiary in the first half of 2014 were summed up.

Following the results of the meeting a Memorandum of Intent was signed. According to the Memorandum there are plans to expand cooperation in the sphere of the distribution grid network development of Russia.
