An Agreement with ABB Signed and Schneider Electric Plant in Yekaterinburg Visited
Rosseti delegation headed by the Company’s CEO Oleg Budargin takes part in the Innoprom-2015 international industrial exhibition. Rosseti’s subsidiary IDGC Ural (Interregional distribution grid company of the Urals) presents its stand at the trade show.
Signing of an agreement on strategic cooperation with ABB (producer of the electrical equipment) was a key moment of the program for Rosseti. Rosseti chief Oleg Budargin and the President of ABB in Russia Anatoly Popov inked the document.
The agreement foresees the cooperation between the companies aimed at localization of the electrical equipment production in Yekaterinburg, carrying out tests, technical support and maintenance service of gas insulated switchgear (GIS) of 110-220 kW for power facilities of Rosseti's subsidiary companies.
Within implementation of the agreement a road map of joint actions is going to be developed for an assessment of possibility of localization of other types of the electrical equipment at production facilities of ABB in Russia.
The cooperation between the companies will allow increasing efficiency and reliability of electricity supply to consumers and will decrease dependence of the power grid on import equipment made abroad.
Oleg Budargin also visited Schneider Electric’s plant in Yekaterinburg where he gave a look-over the samples including medium and low voltage equipment for distribution networks, transformer and distributive substations which have metal and ferroconcrete casing.
Moreover, within his visit to Innoprom-2015 Oleg Budargin took part in the business summit "The Russian-Chinese business partnership: towards world progress" on which further expansion of collaboration in various areas of economy between the countries was discussed.
