KostromaEnergo and BryanskEnergo - companies within the ROSSETI Group - have signed agreements with the administrations of the Kostroma and Bryansk Oblasts to implement a host of measures to ensure reliable power supplies and to facilitate the technological connection of companies in the food industry and agricultural producers.
These agreements provide for cooperation between the energy workers and regional authorities to create a favourable environment for the development of the agricultural sector. They also include a set of specific measures to support companies in the agricultural industry.
An important area of focus for joint efforts is synchronising the regional administration's plans for creating agricultural enterprises with the locations of the main substations belonging to KostromaEnergo and BryanskEnergo that have available capacity.
Regional authorities particularly take responsibility for allocating land for the construction of agricultural enterprises near electrical facilities, which will significantly lower their technological connection costs. Furthermore, an agreement has been reached to simplify the procedure and to shorten the time frames for allocating land and issuing construction permits for electrical facilities.
The numerous support measures also include the possibility to offer payment instalment plans for technological connection agreements and other discounts for the design and construction of electrical facilities necessary for the technological connection of these enterprises and the prospect of reducing the terms for executing existing and newly signed technological connection agreements.
