The total capacity connected to Pskovenergo grids during 2012 increased by 27 %In 2012, Pskovenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West, JSC executed 4,220 contracts for technological connection of future consumers’ power receivers with committed capacity from 5 kW to 794 kW to electric power grids. The number of applicants connected increased by 14% as compared to 2011. The total capacity connected to Pskovenergo grids during 2012 increased by 27 %, having made 63.7 MW (in 2011 it was equal to 50 MW).
4,048 of the technological connection contracts belonged to the segment of up to 15 kW (of the preferential group applicants). They paid approximately 2 mln RUR for the technological connection. Pskovenergo expenses of investment nature on measures for technological connection of preferential group applicants during 2012 made 290 mln RUR which accounts for almost a third of the expenditures as per the whole of Pskovenergo previous year investment program (950 mln RUR). Due to the funds referred to having remained unaccounted for in the electric energy transmission tariff, the power industry company discharged contractual obligations to privileged category applicants through raising loan funds.
