The certificate of preparedness was presented to General Director of IDGC of the North-West by the commission Chairman, Deputy Director of the Department for Operational Control and Management in Power Industry of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexey Zamyslov. IDGC of the North-West, JSC prepared for operation in 2012–2013 autumn/winter period. The statement of preparedness has been signed by a commission including representatives of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the Head Administration of EMERCOM of Russia, the Federal Service for Ecological, Technical and Atomic Supervision (RosTekhNadzor), regional dispatching offices, executive authorities, branches of FGC UES, JSC, Trunk Electric Power Grids of the North-West.
The certificate of preparedness for work during the autumn/winter period was presented to General Director of IDGC of the North-West by the commission Chairman, Deputy Director of the Department for Operational Control and Management in Power Industry of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexey Zamyslov.
This year the preparation procedure has been carried out in accordance with the new Regulations on review of electric power industry actors preparedness for operation during the autumn/winter period approved by decision of the Governmental Commission for Ensuring Safe Power Supply (Federal Headquarters) and joint organizational and administrative documents of FGC UES, JSC and IDGC Holding, JSC, IDGC of the North-West and the Company branches. The preliminary review of the branches’ preparedness proceeded in two stages. The plan of measures for preparation for the heating season with the Company branches was implemented a month earlier as compared to previous years.
Special stress was laid on clearing and expanding routes under transmission lines. As of October 30, 2012 one had cleared over 12.5 thousand ha of routes, repaired thirteen 35–150 kV power transformers and 8 thousand km of 0.4 – 220 kV overhead transmission lines. All in all, the Company is allocating 1,573.6 mln RUR for the current year repairs. 36 mobile teams have been formed for interaction between IDGC of the North-West branches with total manpower equal to 229 persons. The power industry specialists have arranged 16 drills jointly with FGC, EMERCOM, housing and utility sector organizations, authorities and electric power industry actors to train interaction during elimination of emergency situations. IDGC of the North-West has concluded 148 agreements on interaction during elimination of complicated technological disturbances, accidents and emergency situations. IDGC of the North-West disposes of 34 mobile lighting installations and 99 reserve power supply sources.
When presenting the preparedness certificate, the commission Chairman noted the vast amount of work having been performed by IDGC of the North-West.
