Vologdaenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West to spend 26.1 mln RUR on construction of 10 kV overhead line in Spas-Kamenny Island Construction is to be completed in 2013. The total cost of the project for construction of a 10 kV overhead line in Spas-Kamenny Island in the Ust-Kubinsky District (Vologda Region) by Vologdaenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West will make 26.1 mln RUR. The grid company specialists, together with the contractor organization, will commence performance of works in September when the water level drops to the minimum. Construction is to be completed in 2013. According to the project, the transmission line route is to stretch across the hardly accessible location of the Kubena River estuary, four times crossing water barriers; that is why the cable line will be laid not only along the bank but alto across the bottom of Lake Kubenskoye. Vologdaenergo branch is carrying out the overhead transmission line construction on the initiative of the Government of the Vologda Region to provide for power supply to the memorial monastery representing an architectural monument of the 16th century. The project implementation will ensure power supply of the Spaso-Kamenny memorial monastery that is included in the UNESCO registers.
