In the course of the conference Sergey Titov noted that the Arkhangelsk Region has been included in the non-price market zone where supplies of electric energy are performed solely at regulated prices, certain peculiarities of such zone preventing comprehensive attainment of the goals of investment into the electric power grid complex. IDGC of the North-West and the regional administration unanimously agree that solution of the issue lies in relief of constraints impeding the grid tariff growth without detriment to the consumers. Switchover to RAB regulation will provide for an increase of financial inflows aimed at implementation of projects for increase of the grids capacity and reliability. The investment programs of the three RAB-regulated branches of IDGC of the North-West account for 64% of the total amount of the Company’s investment program, with the CAPEX volume exceeding depreciation allowances 3 times.
