The Company determines accents and priorities on the basis of the tasks set at the videoconference between FGC and IDGC Holding related to reliable operation of electric grids during the autumn / winter season held on July 10, 2012.
Corridor expansion is carried out to minimize technological shutdowns of overhead lines due to wire cutouts caused by trees fallen for different reasons. Andrey Murov, Executive Director of JSC IDGC Holding, emphasized this point at the meeting in IDGC of the North-West. In 2012, IDGC of the North-West plans to expand corridors in the volume of 456 Ha, it is 2.9 times more than a year ago, he noted. “In 2013, the scope of works related to expand line corridors within the framework of IDGC of the North-West investment program will be increased to 725 Ha, in 2014 – to 833 Ha, in 2015 – to 957 Ha”, Sergey Titov, General Director IDGC of the North-West, added. In addition to expansion, IDGC of the North-West carries out scheduled corridor clearance, 13.4 thousand Ha will be cleared in 2012.
The IDGC of the North-West 2012 repair program is funded in the amount of 1571.9 mln RUR. As per the most indicators, the program is being implemented ahead of schedule, particularly, 35–220 kV overhead lines repair was fulfilled by 107%, 35–220 kV transformers was repaired by 150%. IDGC of the North-West has taken 2232 actions controlled by Rostekhnadzor out of 2251. The Company has no failing actions.
Within the framework of the Company Investment and Repair Programs, IDGC of the North-West implements long-term target programs, including equipment diagnostics. IDGC of the North-West has 1031 power transformers 110–220 kV including 69% that went through the regulatory time limit, each fifth is frequently checked. In July 2012, the Company introduced a new regulation on quality control of transformer fluid.
