65% of works are planned to be carried out using own resources“Karelenergo” branch defended in IDGC of the North-West a draft capital repair program for 2013. The program was presented by the Deputy Chief Operating Engineer of “Karelenergo” Vladimir Chursin and the Head of Operations Maintenance Eduard Korolyuk.
The document sets priorities for capital repair of “Karelenergo” facilities. The total cost of the program amounts to 303.6 mln rubles, it is almost two times more than volumes approved for 2012 (159 mln rubles). 65% of works are planned to be carried out using own resources. One of the main and inviolable program principles is a full repair of large facilities. For example, Yushkozersky Transit, power transmission lines from Ondskaya HEP-4 to Yushkozerskaya HEP-16, funded from year to year.
It is also planned to replace wood and install plank foundations based on 8 bearings lying in the bog at L-106 HEP-4 – ES-14 Oleniy. Actual volume is not big, works will be carried out at the distance of 1.92 km using own resources, but the cost is rather high – 1.6 mln rubles, because each foundation requires ten 11-meter posts and bearings require 96 insulators.
The Production Department “YUKES” has determined three 35 kV power lines to be repaired primarily. The total cost amounts to 23.5 mln rubles. Implementation of these projects will allow to significantly improve the quality of power supply in Pudozhsky district and Zaonezhye. The same is with the Kondopoga-Gorka-Kulmuksa line, its length including numerous branch lines exceeds 50 km. According to the capital repair program, supports are to be changed this year, self-supporting insulated wire is being installed instead of common wire – this work is to be continued.
The Olonetsky district accommodates one of the most damageable 10 kV “Karelenergo” lines – L-40-1 Kotkozero-Novinka. All in all, the Production Division “YUKES” ordered 125 universal position indicators and 33 micropocessor-based clamp indicators. All voltage lines are to be repaired in the Production Division “ZKES”. They include 5 lines 110 kV (27 supports, 576 insulators), 19 lines 35 kV (83 supports, 637 insulators), 33 lines 6/10 kV (462 supports, 103.3 km self-supporting insulated wire, 1500 insulators).
In 2013 the branch will take measures to implement the repair program aimed at motor roads and railways crossing, water barriers. Full repair is planned for 8 power transformers.
The final program of “Karelenergo” capital repair for 2013 will depend on tariff and balance decision to be made by the government of the Republic of Karelia.
