Relying on the current survey data, IDGC of the North-West will draw a schedule plan of measures for enhancement of reliability of electric power supply to consumers from 110 kV terminal substations.By May 20, 2012 IDGC of the North-West, JSC will have surveyed all the 110 kV terminal substations. For the works performance organization a working team was created within IDGC of the North-West headed by Deputy Chief Engineer for Operation Gennady Aleksandrov. Among its members are deputy chief engineers of all the branches of IDGC of the North-West.
Survey of individual types of equipment is carried out by dedicated specialists on a regular basis. Additional comprehensive surveys (including those of terminal substations) are implemented to minimize the risk of technological de-energization and enhance reliability of consumer electric power supply. Relying on the current survey data, IDGC of the North-West will draw a schedule plan of measures for enhancement of reliability of electric power supply to consumers from 110 kV terminal substations.
The terminal lines and substations problem may be solved through construction of secondary supply circuits, LV-side capacity backup as well as provision of backup power supply sources to socially significant consumers. IDGC of the North-West maintains 123 110 kV terminal substations
