The work is arranged in accordance with the requirements of the Company standard “Forecasting variations of load and electric energy consumption within the territory of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation serviced by IDGC of the North-West, JSC”.
IDGC of the North-West, JSC has commenced formation of forecasts concerning variations of load and electric energy consumption in 2014 2018. The work is arranged in accordance with the requirements of the Company standard “Forecasting variations of load and electric energy consumption within the territory of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation serviced by IDGC of the North-West, JSC”.
“Forecasting variations of load and electric energy consumption for a five years’ period allows to ensure generation of information on the current and prospective lack of capacities in 35, 110, 150 kV electric power grids along the whole area of the Northwestern Federal District of the Russian Federation within the territory whereof IDGC of the North-West carry out their activities,” notes Deputy General Director for Development and Sales of Services Aleksandr Mikhalkov.
The first prospective forecasting campaign was launched by IDGC of the North-West in 2009. Information preparation is performed using an automated system for generation of load and electric energy consumption prospective variation forecasts. The data will be posted on IDGC of the North-West branches’ websites.
The indicators of load and electric energy consumption prospective variation forecast will be taken into account during generation and correction of long-term and annual investment and repairs programs as well as during generation of the Company’s proposals on establishment of tariffs for 2014.
