The line is a “carryover” facility of 2011 Investment Program. Arkhenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West, JSC completed works for reconstruction of Chekuyevskaya 10 kV overhead line in the Onega District. The line is a “carryover” facility of 2011 Investment Program. The works cost made 13.5 mln RUR. The updated line will enable enhanced reliability of consumer electric power supply within the region and provide for technological connection of residential houses to the branch grids in the Onega District. In the course of the works performance the power industry specialists covered the grid sections feeding difficult-to-reach populated localities of the Onega District. All in all, 386 new poles were installed along Chekuyevskaya line in place of those having served their time. Additionally, 35/10 kV Chekuyevskaya substation was equipped with high-accuracy electric energy meters for reduction of losses within the grid with HV 10 kV oil switches replaced with vacuum ones noted for simplicity and operational reliability.
