The capital repair program of “Karelenergo” branch of IDGC of the North-West, JSC for 2012 has been approved in an amount of 159 mln RUR. The growth of capital repair scopes by almost a third has enabled one to put in order a great many of power facilities as well as buildings and structures.
During the winter period and in H1 2012 one will pay special attention to facilities that are hardly accessible in summer. In particular, by the end of May one is to complete repair of VL-116 110 kV overhead line of the Yushkozero direction. One will replace ground wire within a 23.2 km distance and repair earthing loops on 11 poles.
During the summer season large-scale repair works will be performed on 10 kV lines in the Kondopoga District, one planning to replace 118 poles, 1.2 km of non-insulated cable (with protected self-supporting insulated cable) and two sectionalizing circuit breakers (with vacuum ones). The approximate cost of all the works is 5 mln RUR; in the nearest future a tender will be arranged for selection of the contractor.
As scheduled, one will proceed with repair of substations. This involves replacement of 3 transformers, 111 circuit breakers (with 28 of them to be replaced with vacuum ones).
