By 2016, IDGC of the North-West plans to carry out works for expansion of 35-220 kV overhead lines forest corridors to an extent of 3727 ha. The investment sum will make 506.8 mln RUR. With an aim of minimizing costs works for arrangement of transmission lines protective zones and land survey are performed simultaneously. According to IDGC of the North-West 2012 Business Plan, one plans to allocate 225 mln RUR for land survey with account for the protective zones.IDGC of the North-West, JSC is implementing a program for expansion of forest corridors of overhead lines with voltage of 35 kV and more. By 2012, IDGC of the North-West plans to carry out works for expansion of 35-220 kV overhead lines forest corridors to an extent of 3727 ha. The works funding volume will make 506.8 mln RUR.
The program envisages increase of the average annual volume of forest corridor clearing works year by year. In 2011 it was 162 ha, in 2012 one plans to clear 456 ha, in 2013 – 725 ha, in 2014 – 833 ha, in 2015 – 957 ha, in 2016 – 756 ha.
To be expanded are the forest corridors of the priority 35-220 kV overhead lines supplying power to essential consumers including critical infrastructure, oil and gas processing complex and Russian Railways facilities. The forest corridor expansion will enable minimization of the risk of emergency trips and, consequently, reduction of electric energy undersupply and economic damage to the consumers and to the electric power grid company.
IDGC of the North-West, JSC is carrying out work for arrangement of transmission lines protective zones and facilities cadastral accounting. The total volume of all the works for land management and registration of ownership rights to real properties and usage rights to land plots is estimated (in monetary terms) as equal to 2.5 bln RUR.
