On February 22, 2012 Arkhenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West, JSC hosted a technical council dedicated to consideration of the draft of the scheme and program for development of 35–110 kV electric power grids during the period of 2012–2016. Among the conference participants were representatives of the regional Ministry for the Fuel and Energy Complex and the Housing and Utilities Sector, Severodvinsk City Mayor’s Office and the power industry community. The project was presented by Valetin Garyayev, Chief Engineer of Vologdaselenergoproject, LLC. It was the latter enterprise that elaborated the document.
The draft of the scheme and program having been elaborated for development of the region electric power grids envisages analysis of the existing electric power industry condition, dynamics of the core energy and electric efficiency indicators, energy consumption forecast, core areas of the region electric power industry development, proposals for innovative measures to be taken. Currently, the document correction and agreement are in progress. On February 28 it will be considered by deputies of the Arkhangelsk Regional Assembly at a session of the Committee for Power Industry and the Housing and Utilities Sector. It is the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region that will approve of the scheme and program for electric power industry prospective development.
