Conceptual solutions were found that will allow the region to fulfill the prescriptions of the Government of the Russian Federation concerning restrictions of electric energy transmission tariffs growth and the investment program execution. A working meeting of Governor of the Vologda Region Oleg Kuvshinnikov and General Director of IDGC of the North-West, JSC (subsidiary company of Russian Grids, JSC) Sergey Titov was held in Saint Petersburg.
In the course of the negotiation the parties discussed problems related to payment discipline of the Vologda Region electric power industry actors and consumers, one having taken notice of the risks for operation through the heating season due to chronic failures of the guaranteeing supplier Vologda Retail Company, JSC to effect payment of amounts due to IDGC of the North-West.
The parties also discussed problems related to tariff regulation for purposes of termination of contracts for lease of UNEG electric power grid facilities. Conceptual solutions were found that will allow the region to fulfill the prescriptions of the Government of the Russian Federation concerning restrictions of electric energy transmission tariffs growth and the investment program execution. A decision was taken on maximum synchronization of grid companies’ investment programs with those of consumers within the region and correction of implementation timeframes of certain projects.
