Defense of branch repair programs of the Company branches within IDGC of the North-West is over. The scope of the consolidated draft repair program drawn for 2014 is equal to 2,070.8 mln RUB which exceeds the current year performance by 21 %. The scope increase is due to implementation of an integrated program stipulating performance of works for clearing and expansion of forest corridors of overhead lines routes during the period of 2013–2017. The document has been agreed with Russian Grids, JSC.
48% of the funds are to be spent on works to be performed on contracting basis. The other repairs are to be carried out by the enterprise’s own efforts.
The power industry specialists plan to repair over 10,000 km of overhead transmission lines of 0.4–150 kV voltage class, 52 35–110 kV substations, 1,873 transformer substations. Approximately 50% of the funds are to be allocated for repair of 6–20 kV distribution grids that are most prone to accident. Currently, the level of fixed assets wear within the zone serviced by IDGC of the North-West is 68 %, on the average.
The final version of 2014 repair program will be approved as part of the business plan of IDGC of the North-West after tariff and balance decisions for the period of planning have been taken.
