IDGC of the North-West, JSC having commenced energy sales activities within the Novgorod Region territory.

The Guaranteeing Supplier functions transfer will allow to improve payment discipline in the wholesale and retail electric energy market and render it transparent to all the market participantsSince 1 April, 2013, IDGC of the North-West, JSC in the person of Novgorodenergo branch has commenced activities in the capacity of the Guaranteeing Supplier (GS) of electric energy within the Novgorod Region territory. The whole territory of the Novgorod Region, except for the territories included in the respective zones of activities of Oboronenergosbyt, JSC and Novgorodenergosbyt, LLC, has been specified as the zone of IDGC of the North-West energy sales activities.
By Order No 150 dated 22 March, 2013, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation deprived Novgorodoblenergosbyt, JSC of the Guaranteeing Supplier status and conferred the latter on IDGC of the North-West, JSC.
