Productive supply of electric energy across IDGC of the North-West grid having increased by 0.6% in 2012 The highest growth rate was recorded in the electric energy consumption of the Pskov region, the drop -in the Republic of KareliaFollowing 2012 outcome, productive supply of electric energy across IDGC of the North-West grid increased by 0.6% as compared to the previous period, having thus made 40,467.6 mln kWh. The total loss volume did not exceed the established target and was equal to 6.4%.
Within the territory serviced by IDGC of the North-West, electric energy consumption increased in the Vologda Region (+1.2%), the Komi Republic (+3.44%), the Murmansk Region (+0.9%), the Novgorod Region (+2.6%) and the Pskov Region (+4.6%). Insignificant reduction of consumption was observed in the Arkhangelsk Region (-0.6%).
In the Republic of Karelia the drop (-4%) in productive supply across the grids of Karelenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West is due to decrease in electric energy consumption by such major enterprises of the region as Nadvoitsy Aluminium Smelter and Kondopoga Pulp & Paper Mill.
