Ministry of Energy having reviewed interaction between grid companies, authorities, housing and utility sector organizations, EMERCOM and consumers as exemplified by the situation in Karelia

A grid-wide emergency response drill took place in Karelia in the course whereof one reviewed interaction between Karelenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West, JSC, the Karelian enterprise of Trunk Electric Power Grids of the North-West branch, territorial executive authorities and local administration bodies, housing and utility sector organizations, EMERCOM subdivisions and consumers. The drill proceedings were controlled by Deputy Director of the Department for Operational Control and Management in Power Industry and Mobility Preparation within the Fuel & Energy Complex of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexey Zamyslov who headed the commission for review of IDGC of the North-West preparedness for the winter.
