Five subcommittees are checking readiness at power facilities in Vologda, Murmansk, and Novgorod regions as well as in the Republic of Karelia and the Komi Republic. A committee started its work at IDGC of the North-West JSC on August 13 as part of Phase 1 of the company preliminary inspection before the autumn and winter period. Pavel Tyudelekov, Deputy Chief Engineer from Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System Open Joint-stock Company, was appointed the chairman. Five subcommittees are checking readiness at power facilities in Vologda, Murmansk, and Novgorod regions as well as in the Republic of Karelia and the Komi Republic. The productions departments of the branches were inspected provisionally between August 1 and 8. Phase 1 of the preliminary inspection is set for August 13 to 17. The audit of power facilities is expected to provide the company with a statement of recommendations and activities to be taken in order to eliminate risks hindering successful preparation for the heating season. The stated activities and recommendations will be reviewed in September, during the final phase, i.e. Phase 2, of the preliminary inspection.
