Vologdaenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West to invest approximately 55 mln RUR in reconstruction of “Zapadnaya” 110/35/10/6 kV substation in Vologda in 2012 The power industry company’s CAPEX on the investment project will make approximately 55 mln RUR. Vologdaenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West, JSC has commenced implementation of a major investment project for reconstruction of “Zapadnaya” 110/35/10/6 kV substation in Vologda (Vologda Region). The power industry company’s CAPEX on the investment project will make approximately 55 mln RUR. 
Currently, the contractor organization specialists are beginning with dismantlement works within “Zapadnaya” 110/35/10/6 kV substation territory. In 2012, within the framework of the project, the power industry facility will undergo dismantlement of the 35 kV outdoor switchgear and construction of the substation control house/indoor switchgear building.
The Vologda city land use plan for the period till 2017 envisages creation and development of “Belozersky” and “Kurolit” prospective residential neighbourhoods, their forecast load amounting to 17.9 MVA. The project implementation will enable satisfaction of future consumers’ demand for the required power output and ensure high quality, reliable and uninterrupted supply of energy.
The project is part of “Scheme and Program for Development of the Vologda Region Power Industry in 2013–2017” signed on 27.04.2012. The project implementation is to be over in 2015.
