Sergey Titov particularly emphasized the importance of electric injury prevention among children. At the end of the previous week, IDGC of North-West initiated an inter-regional round-table discussion devoted to electric injury prevention among children. On the 18th of July, Alexander Mikhalkov, Deputy Director General of IDGC of North-West for Development and Sales of Services will participate in a joint meeting together with Anton Inyutsyn, Deputy Minister of Energy, as part of a panel session of a Working Group on Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Enhancement in the North-West Federal District. The meeting will be held in St. Petersburg.
JSC “IDGC of North-West” has been implementing a set of measures for saving energy and enhancing energy efficiency. Within the framework of the Program for Prospective Development of a System for Electric Energy Accounting in the Retail Electric Energy Market, IDGC of North-West plans to install electric energy accounting units at 90 thousand accounting points. According to the decision taken by the Board of Directors, the program’s funding volume will account for approximately 10% of the investment program excluding technological connection volumes. By 2016, the program expenditures are expected to total 2.17 bln RUR exclusive of VAT.
By 2016, implementation of the measures on the Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Enhancement Program is anticipated to result in a total loss reduction effect equal to 292 mln kWh. During the meeting, Alexander Mikhalkov, Deputy Director General for Development and Sales of Services will present a detailed report on energy saving and energy efficiency enhancement.
